It is edible and has nutrients by not many like this part. To remove, make a cut down the back using a paring knife, small utility of a shrimp deveiner. Pull it out using the knife and rinse shrimp.
Tip 4 – When preparing fresh shrimp, be very focused on the smell. Avoid cooking shrimp that has ammonia like smell because it may not be as fresh and healthy as you may want.
